08/11/2007 - The Swamp Thing 4x4 monster Truck is back on TV. These time you can see Swamp Thing 4x4 not jumping or crushing cars put at home in a SWAMP!!! As part of Scrapheap Challenge Final.

Lisa Rogers and Robert Llewellyn present the final of the technological challenge series in which two teams must create a piece of machinery using junk from a scrapyard. Woof Justice from Newcastle go head to head with the Beach Bums from Torquay and race in four-wheeled vehicles across a swamp.

06/11/2007 - The Swamp Thing 4x4 monster Truck team are pleases to announce that we will be appearing with the Slingshot Monster Truck at all the Truckfest shows all over the UK in 2008,Truckfest is undoubtedly the largest festival of road haulage anywhere in Europe, It's a great day out. 08/10/2007 - Good news for all monster truck fans, One to the biggest shows ever to beheld in the UK is only a few weeks away. Monster Jam is coming to Cardiff's Millennium Stadium on the 21/10/2007 with the line up of trucks including Grave Digger, Monster Mutt, Max D., Escalade, El Toro Loco, Batman, Turtle, Taz, Jetix, Thor. & the Swamp Thing 4x4 team will be backing the Uk very own Slingshot monster truck, this is a date not to be missed

04/9/2007 - The Swamp Thing 4x4 monster truck team as been racing hard this year and was only 10 points behind the leader (Bigfoot) in to the last round of racing at the Norfolk Arena. 10 points is a very small gap as there is a maximum of 178 points per round, so the team had high hopes to winning the title this year.

After setting a good time in qualifying it was on to racing heats. The team looked at the heats line up an saw they would be in the 2nd heat V's Bigfoot, so we knew they had the win to make the final.
So we drove Swamp Thing 4x4 up to the start line and you could tell the crowds knew this would be a big race. Off the start line we make a good start and it was head to head at the turn round, but on the way up to the 6 car jump the truck was not pulling like it normally did and we finish 2nd. After the race we were parking the truck up in the pits and the gearbox lost all drive and this would rule us out for winning the title. But lucky the team had enough of a gap over third place they could not be caught and finished 2nd over all for the third year running.

02/7/2007 - Hot off the press the MTRUK.NET web site has now re launched there very popular FORUM. So if you are in to monster trucks this is a good place to meet a lot of the UK drivers and teams and find out lots of info.

12/5/2007 - Good news if you love watching monster trucks, Monster Jam is back on TV. It's on Bravo2 from this Saturday at 9am, 4pm & 11pm ,see these mechanical monster compete against each other while crushing any cars, vans, buses or motor homes in their way.

27/4/2007 -The Swamp Thing 4x4 Team can now offer Monster Truck Bodies or panels of our Ford F350 Super Duty Extra Cab. The panels have precut wheel arch's and suit a truck with about 140" wheel base. The panels come unpainted but painting can be arranged, please contact us for more info

24/4/2007 -The Swamp Thing 4x4 Team & the Slingshot Monster Truck Teams video of the Santa Pod Raceway Easter Thunderball 2007 has been add to the Movie Gallery. Its about 5minites of high action fun.

12/4/2007 -Swamp Thing 4x4 made its first appearance of the year at Santa Pod Raceway's Easter Thunderball. Santa Pod Raceway had been busy and created a brand new
Live Action Arena.

The line up for the Live Action Arena over the 3-day event was Terry Grant
international stunt diver, UKFMX freestyle motor cross, Swamp Thing 4x4 and
Slingshot monster trucks, with two shows on each of the three days.
The rivalry between Karl in Slingshot and myself Tony in Swamp Thing 4x4
increased as the weekend went on. To see who could make the best jump, the
fastest donut and the most mess!

The crowd loved it and got involved with this competition and over the 6
shows but in the end the two Trucks came out a tie!!

We made some great new friends over the weekend and we look forward to
our next appearance at Santa Pod Raceway is the " FIA/UEM European Finals

13/3/2007 -The Swamp Thing 4x4 Team has just got their axles back from T.S. Trucksports Ltd. Trevor and the team have fully refurbished both axles and remade the whole of the 106 centres. Two new diffs have all so been fitted,
The axles have now been fitted back under Swamp Thing 4x4 and they went on without a hitch.
